Who is the Biggest Liar of the them All?
Posted by Ryuei at November 13, 2008 09:55 AMgood article, I will print it and carry it around with me, because it's an excellent cheat sheet when you are talking with people who want to place all the blame on only one of the parties. Or the people who say we the whole problem is because of poor people and minorities buying homes they couldn/t afford.
Posted by: Jean at November 13, 2008 02:05 PMThe thing is, these cons aren't "neo-cons", they're the oldest cons in the book. However, as out money is backed by more and more abstract principles, we lose a relationship to real value and rely on what is fast exceeding "surplus value" and mutating into "arrogance value". With so many people, expecially Americans, souped up on Hormone meat, television death ray tractor beam, seeing themselves as celebrities, as connected, as part of the "show", beaming 24 hours a day on the Greed channel, the Ego channel, and the Fundamental Darkness network, it becomes increasingly tempting to turn inward and listen to the rustling of the leaves.
It's getting on and the time to start planting seeds along the Bodhisattva path has long ago begun, but has been neglected for too long. Let's take that journey ourselves and ask others to do the same. We can't blame wolves for being wolves or politicians for being politicians. We have to change the way we perceive these "everyday deities" and stop putting someone or some institution above out lives. We do have the power to overcome this and we have the potential to change this through human revolution.

Posted by: cl at November 14, 2008 07:44 AMDear cl:
There was no transparency, the books were altered and there was alot of hype. This is like altering the Sutras and the Gosho, and claiming one has attained what they have not. No one can figure things out without a great deal of effort.
Speaking of transparency, when is the SGI going to release their financial records to the members that wish to know where their money is going.
Speaking of altering, when is SGI going to return to the original Showa Tehon collection of Gosho rather than the Gosho Zenshu compiled and altered by the Taisekaji priests?
Speaking of hype, when is SGI going to stop making outlandish claims about their attainments while putting down the members of non-SGI Nichiren sects.
