I’m off to Japan again. On this trip I have reservations to tour Hondoji temple, home to at least two Gohonzon inscribed by Nichiren. I have been led to believe that I will be able to view one or more or these on the tour.
The tour will last two hours as it makes it’s way around the vast temple grounds of Hondoji, made famous not for Nichiren rather for their beautiful Hydrangeas and Autumn colors. Funny that - says a lot about modern Japan.
When I return I expect to have quite a lot to write about.
