Jakkodo at the Equinox of the Gods

Dear Friends:

This is an open letter to all those who seek wellness and a sangha without demands. The right time to establish the great healing movement of Jakkodo is now. The autumnal equinox dawns on September 23. The ultimate purpose of my recovery from cancer in 1987 is the founding of Jakkodo. The meaning of Jakkodo is the land of eternally tranquil light. Buddha described the true nature of life and mind as jakkodo. Nam(u)-myoho-renge-kyo enables ordinary people to cause this clear mind – this ground luminosity to emerge from within.

The foundation of the Jakkodo healing movement is the dharma of Lotus Sutra, Nam(u) myoho-renge-kyo. Mantra--Powered Visualization is the potent medicine that enables people of any belief to bring forth healing within themselves and the power to influence others. Modern Buddhist Healing is the basis for the establishment of Jakkodo.

The primary mission of Jakkodo has seven points.

1. Heal yourself. Heal the earth.

2. Heal others, especially children. Heal animals, plants, and other life forms.

3. Minister to the sick, the suffering, and forgotten.

4. Comfort the dying.

5, Teach others for free.

6. Pray for the dead.

7. Serve others to the best of your abilities at your own expense.

My personal mission is to teach people throughout the world how to use mantra-powered visualization to overcome their illness. Your mission is personal and unique. As the founder of Jakkodo, I will conduct research into the science of meditation and healing, the dynamics and actuality of intercessory prayer, as well as the compilation of data and experiences of meditative healing. This data will be peer reviewed and published over the course of time.

To be a member of Jakkodo, all one needs to do is learn about Modern Buddhist Healing and employ its principles. As a great sage once said, "Follow your bliss.”
