A Pattern

There is a pattern of first born sons' of SGI leaders dying. I mentioned three, there is one I did not mention, the son of Guy MCclowsky. It is more than a coincidence. It is the result of abandoning Shakyamuni Buddha and appropriating the Lotus Sutra and the name of Nichiren Daishonin for the cult that is the SGI. By destroying the Law and scorching the seeds of Buddhahood for millions of people, the cult leaders are reaping their rewards. Inconspicuos actions leads to conspicuous results. How much more so the conspicuous actions of SGI that destroy the Pure Law of Lotus Sutra and Shakyamuni Buddha? Nichiren Daishonin warned that even his disciples, even those who chant the daimoku, could go astray and they would be punished.

Good medicine tastes bitter and good advice often grates on the ears. Nichiren Daishonin also taught that the overturned cart ahead is warning to those behind.

Rogow, you wrote:

You are despicable. I knew Brian, and know Guy and Doris very well, and I remember Brian's death, and both the grief we all felt and the amazing character displayed by Guy and Doris. For you to publish such filth under the guise of some kind of religious superiority is lower than low. I had no idea you were this disgusting. Maybe I just haven't looked closely enough.

And you explicitly push this ugliness under the Kempon Hokke banner. I wonder if that group actually knows how you are making them look? If so, shame on them. Certainly shame on you. I hope Rev. Greg gets rid of this disgusting page, as it sullies and dirties his "Fraught With Peril" group by association. If I were still blogging here, I would withdraw.

You too have been deceived Andy. There is not one SGI leader who displays amazing character. I'm sure Guy will welcome you back into the SGI.

Once again, this is a dispassionate observation and we can infer things from observations based on the Lotus Sutra and the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin, things like benefit and punishment.

Guy and Doris were punished and those top leaders who continue to promote the SGI and Ikeda at the expense of the Lotus Sutra and Shakyamuni Buddha will also be punished. My prediction is that Danny Nagashima is the next to suffer a serious loss unless he renounces his position and begins to practice as the Lotus Sutra teaches.

Ryokan did many good deeds. He built hospitals. He fed the poor. Yet in the Eyes of the Lotus Sutra he was a terrible human being.

Be careful who you consder your friends Andy, they just might bring you down. Your anger is sorely misplaced.

Gee, Rogow. How did Nichiren die? Oh yes, it was of intestinal problems, maybe cancer, maybe something else, and quite painful. Yep, you make a lot of sense, asshole.

You are just like any other fundamentalist. Just like the Christian assholes who blamed the deaths and loss in New Orleans on sinfulness and homosexuality. Just like the biblical nonsense about Sodom and Gommorah. Just another charlatan who substitutes his specific flavor of "faith" for reason and common sense.

Here's a clue, dimwit: nobody gets out alive, and a lot of folks, good, bad and indifferent, die "before their time." It has nothing to do with whose religiouis ass they kiss.

Speaking of which, you and your Kempon Hocus can kiss mine. What a fool you are.

Better than you,

Mark,

You are a disturbed man. I've read a number of your posts and I am unfortunately "getting" it - you are a hate-filled, mean spirited little man with a chip on your shoulder about something. It's interesting to me that for someone with such a fundamentalist outlook you haven't shared (at least not since I've been reading your posts) why exactly you have such a demented faith. What miracles have transformed your life to give you such a stark and vicious view of the sufferings of others?

Where is the "actual proof" behind the superiority complex you have acquired. You are not a good example of what Nichiren stood for and you will turn people away from the practice of this Buddhism with your attitude and cruel postings.

Still Andy you don't address the issue. Did Nichiren Daishonin teach about punishment as well as benefit? Is a phrase to that effect written on several Gohonzon? Is it normal for so many first born son's to die? Is it normal for the child to precede the parent into death? You have a very shallow appreciation of the causal Law of life.

Hi Aaron:

You know the saying about the fireflies laughing at the sun, don't you? That is how I take your criticism Aaron. The SGI leaders are punished for abandoning Shakyamuni Buddha and leading millions of people astray. Their life conditions are in the lower worlds. If I were to point out the animality of monkey no one would ever reevaluate their faith or comprehension. Pointing out the anger and animality of the SGI members and the effects that these conditions engender, many have reflected on their faith and practice and broken the chain of delusions. If I struck a nerve I am pleased. By your hatred and criticism of me you are closer to Buddhahood than you were chanting ten million Daimoku with the SGI.

Guy McCloskey has been a friend to me and has given me advice on a number of occasions, notably, when my father, mother, and brother died. For those kind words, I am truly thankful. Even though I was seperated from the SGI, when his precious son died, I sent him a letter of condolence. I have great respect for this man and find your words horrific, cruel, insipid, and ugly. Your words and conclusions are evil.

Because your blog has devolved into an open sewer of psychological disease and downright evil, I can no longer be associated with Fraught With Peril, until you are removed from this site.

May the mercy of Buddha be more gracious to you than you are to others. How horrid for you. You need help, and FWP nees to send you back to hell.

Rogow,

You ignorantly wrote:

Yes, yes, no, and no, in that order. So what? For you to pretend, and "pretend" is exactly the right word, to understand the reason behind any untimely death is the height of arrogance, or ignorance, or both. You don't know any more than anyone else why these things happen, or what the exact causes were. That stuff is way to profound and intricate for the likes of us common mortals to figure out.

Nichiren said to "suffer what there is to suffer..." The beauty and power of his teaching is not about eliminating worldly sufferings and ills, but rather about overcoming them and persevering, "...no matter what." He didn't say nothing bad or untimely or ugly would ever happen to good people. Deluded agenda-driven assholes like you put your own spin on these matters, but reasonable, non-fanatic, thinking people see that it's all garbage.

How old were the Atsuhara martyrs? Did they die an untimely death? Did they precede their parents? Oops! They did? How can that be? Was it because they were being punished? No, in your world, they were exemplary of doing everything right.

But get the Police Chief to fall off his horse and die, and it's proof that he did everything wrong.

What bullshit. What a piece of mind-numbed stupidity you are. I've heard more sense and reason from the Jehovah's Witnesses who knock at my door, and certainly more compassion. Your medieval, black-and-white-world brain must do flip flops in this modern world. How miserable and confused you must be.

Of course, true believer fanatics like you know no confusion, because they let no glimmer of reality mess with their comfortable fantasies.

I never told Rogow about the Kempon Hokke Shu deaths, maybe he would not have been so gun happy to post this.

Still guys, what about my Kyoko site? Lets get it down, she was my friend, not even a member of any jack ass cult. Does she deserve to have Terry or Kathy Ruby put up that site about her?

No one here knows where the Rubys are, or how to contact them. As I've said before, their site is an abomination, as is this blog.

Further more, I doubt anyone can control the Rubys. They're also fundamentalist culties, the worst of the worst.

Mark, I can barely see to type in this little window. Please forgive any typos. The things you describe about SGI are why I undissociated myself from them. The thing is, I see you doing the same things, just wearing a different hat. At least you get the literal teachings straight.

I do not know if Nichiren was really superstitious, or if he was skilfully addressing people with primitive belief systems. You have read my take on kito prayer. I do not think that kami or devas make good things happen to us, or that demons cause us harm.

I do think that there is a mythic value there related to archetypes, symbolic imagery, ritual psychodrama, ans so on. There is also a mysterious force called pneuna, prana, chi, qi, or ki. This seems to have various modulations or vibes. Aku has bad vibes; virtues have good vibes.

That said, bad things happen to those on one's side, they are obstacles; while good things are blessings. When bad things happen to those other guys; it is punishment; while good things are coincidences.

Taking pleasure from the sufferings of others, is, imo, malevolence, and one of the ugliest human emotions; regardless of whose side we are on. We know Ikeda and some SGIers gloat when those who "betray him" suffer, so why on earth would we wish to emulate that?

That is why I dissociated from SGI. Why would I associate with your sect? Just because you can read and get the literal meaning straight?

You infer you are in medicine. If so, you would learn to be coldly objective. Perhaps that is why you come sometimes come across as so insensitive at times?

Mark,

What are you so angry about? What happened to you man? I think you need to write a script for some valium and chill out. Is medical marijuana available in your state? Do you know a dealer?

Anyway, I read your post about all the bad luck you suffered when you were following the lead of Mr. Maltz but I have to ask - Didn't it ever occur to you to think for your fucking self? For a medical person you are way too superstitious and primitive in your thinking. If you didn't have penicillin available would you call the local shaman to treat the bacterial infections of your patients? Or maybe just put them out of their diseased misery with a stinging assault on their character for bringing the illness on themselves. What century are you living in?....Can I book a room with some friends - a kind of Medieval Times vacation in the Doctor Mark Rogow suite - right this way....I've brought my own leeches and witch burning kit....lol!

Do you treat the people who rely on you for medical advice (I am assuming you are a family doctor and not an oncologist or other speciality that requires real thought - just kidding, with the same contempt that you are showing the SGI families that lost children?

Think a little bit more on what you are posting. Do you really think that the sewer you are creating in this blog is helping anyone?
