Muslims from Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and Inonesia have been most affected. Of course Japan hasn't been exempt because the blight of heretical Buddhism still infects the nation.
I'm sorry, Mark, but it just seems ridiculous to me that someone could believe that folks in countries with heretical beliefs are cursed with adverse plate tectonics.
The earth is billions of years old and the tectonic plates started bumping into one another long before the first homo sapiens formed an idea, much less a heretical one.

Why is one born in a relatively quiet earthquake free zone and another into a hotbed of plate techtonic activity? The causal Law of life is always operative over the Three Existence. The cause of Japanese milaterism led to the effect of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There are places with predicted high probability of earthquakes that haven't had a major earthquake in thousands of years and other places with high activity that are in low probability zones. Some populous areas suffer magnitude 8+ earthquakes but there are relatively few casualties and there are other areas hit with magnitude 6.6.quakes that kills hundreds or thousands of people. The moment Nichiren and Nichiju died flowers bloomed out of season and the earth trembled slightly. Devedatta, on the other hand, was swallowed by a crevice when the earth opened up. The Buddhist Law is strict and not easily understood.
Thanks for the comment
