Memo to the Angels

Memo to the Angels;

Where are you angels?

Memo to the board of directors!

For all you working spirits;

They need pampers in Haiti!

When the stores are all closed

and the people out in the streets

It's not a time for protecting rubble;

...not a time to stop and stare

But a time to open up your hearts and care

.

Memo to all you aspiring Angels,

Climbing the spiritual ladder,

It is time to get off your duffs and care;

They need food and water down there.

.

While looters break and steal

Letting them eat will be letting them heal

There is a Jeckyl and Hyde in every human

They need direction to do what is right!

.

Memo to the Angels;

You fat people, throwing out food

There are hungry people who need your help

Open your eyes and you can see them

Open your hearts and they can heal you
