Getting the message

The elections are coming. I liked Kucinich for his single payer plan. I like Obama but he sounds like Clinton in 1992. I'm probably voting for Hillary.

Religious politics is still causing trouble. Our country is led by people who have no respect for human rights and who are situational liars. And we are in the middle of a collapsing financial bubble. We need progressive leadership -- and I'm not sure we will get it. Fear makes it possible we'll continue this "war" against the world and water-boarding.

But if we control our minds, take right action and don't give in, all these issues can be overcome. We can defeat fear.

I think Clinton is already completely sold out and Obama will be easily mislead. I'm so sure that Hillary can't win in November that if she does I'll figure the fix was in. At this point all you can really do is vote for Obama and hope. Anyway in our great American democracy it turns out you don't even get to pick who Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum will be. The Super Delegates can vote for whoever they want and since they make up 40% of the vote for the nominee theoretically you only need 11% of the delegates elected by the popular vote to be the nominee. The office of President is a dictatorship now anyway, but at least we still have the illusion of choice.

Naturally I don't agree. I think that all politicians have to work within the system. But whether they are sellouts or not is a separate issue. I don't see Hillary as a sell out. She's been fairly consistent.

Also our media is so controlled lately that the more the media disparages somebody the more likely it is that I'm going to dig into their program. She has the best one left.
