I’ve never thought of myself as a statistics sort of person….
Apparently I am. Fact is I am the first in my area to get there stats entered on the statistics website consistently from month to month.
I am struggling to understand why this is so difficult for some of the reporters to keep up with. Some of the possible reasons are;
A failure of district leaders to report
Resistance toward perceived number-keeping
Forgetfulness
Language barriers within organizational units
You see, the way it works is that there is a two month reporting period. At the end of the month all districts should have reported in and within a week or so the chapter stats admin should have all the different statistics entered on the webpage. Shortly after this the area level finalizes the report and we begin again in the new two-month period.
What irks me is that now I can’t enter my stats for July because May/June hasn’t been finalized! It’s maddening really.
Does anyone have anything to add to this? Is it just natural for me, but not for others? This new membership care program is at the heart of everything that we believe in. I want to see it succeed where others have failed…
