This year SGI’s activity rate has really exploded! Wow, not sure what to think. I haven’t seen this many activities scheduled since the olden days of NSA.
Study meetings, leadership training meetings, World Peace Prayer meetings, the list goes on and on.
There’s so much meeting-juggling going on it’s hard to finalize and mail out the schedule.
Wow…
One could draw many conclusions on the frantic pace of activities, depending of course on one’s disposition toward SGI. The real truth is that this is a fine opportunity to discover our own priorities. Pres. Ikeda actually stated these priorities back in 1990 in the November issue of Seikyo Times…
I’ll give you a hint - two of them star with the letters “J” and “F”…
It’s all Kosen Rufu in the end after all…
Cheers!

Hi Don,
I can’t think what “J” and “F” might stand for. Please share.

Hi, Don - I hope you will agree with me that the Leadership Training Seminars have been overdue and much-needed. I haven't been able to go to one (I usually have something else on Sunday mornings and that's when they're offered in the San Fernando Valley). However, I have read the materials online at the SGI-USA website and think the material is generally very good. It's important to try to all get "on the same page" in terms of what leadership is (and isn't).
Thanks for your blog, Don - check in with us more often, I enjoy reading what you have to share. Best, Byrd in LA

Leadership training - I agree totally. It's overdue, but more than that I think the time is right for it now.
I've made them all, and I am happy with the format and quality. This is probably due to the leadership hosting them, but the video presentation has been excellent as well.
Thanks again for reading. I will try and post more often.
