Buddha said:
"Do not pursue the past.
Do not lose yourself in the future.
The past no longer is.
The future has not yet come.
Looking deeply at life as it is
in the very here and now,
the practitioner dwells
in stability and freedom."
* * * * * * * * *
this is not fully coorect..
do not pursue the past
recollect and learn from it
do not lose yourself in the future
but future is important still
without future planning
there can be no direction now
look at the moment
here and now is right
but get too engrossed and you forget
that you still have to fulfil your future
stability and freedom will not come
just because you are able to
fully appreciate the moment
that is only one thing correct out
of the thousands that must also be correct.
