Nice site Bruce. I wish you and Stephanie well. It sad that people have split so far apart instead of somehow learning to work together. I think sometimes we hold on to what happened to "me" so much no one can find the way to forgiveness. Graham included. I sincerely want you and your wife to know that I am sorry and deeply sorrowful for the way things turned out between us. I will always owe you both a great debt of gratitude. Of course after working close with Graham for years I realize how it must have been difficult for all of you to get along. Like Stephanie said long ago, 'Lamont is brillant, but he is a very difficult old scholar', and he admits that. The irony in all this was the priest were the people that betrayed us all. What we could have all done together.
I also realize that by losing the writing you had developed with Graham, his works were after all now the Kempon Hokke's doctrine, and to have someone just leave and now take your religious doctrine you are using as your faith based letter to your believers, put you and Stephenie in a very bad and ackward position. You were without doctrine. I also am deeply sadden that you think I would have done anything to hurt you and Stephanie. I would have done anything for you guys Bruce, but in fairness you and I had some problems that were erroneous between us, but it is common among humans and meaningless really in the bigger picture. Bruce you and Stephenie were always in my heart my brother and sister in faith.

Anyway, I hope life is treating you well, again nice site. You are both great scholars. I hope you will keep our communications private, I am not into the gossip and what people do with the smallest information is terrible. I know you know that better than anyone else. If there is anything I can ever do to help, please do not hesitate to ask. I think only great things for you and your family, and pray every day for your enlightenment. May Buddha bless you always.

If you want to share this email though I have no objection.

Namu Myoho renge kyo,
always,
Steve
